Sherry

Sherry was rescued in July 2023 out of the slaughter pipeline. She was completely unable to walk (move) normally due to deformities in her limbs, particularly the front legs. Whether she had foundered on top of this issue, it seems that whoever bred the mare who had Sherry as her foal ignored a deformity leaving this poor horse crippled. Ringbone had developed and this mare lived her life in a great deal of pain. She was humanely euthanized as nothing could be done to manage her issues or give her a quality of life.
