Raven was one of the first horses rescued in what turned out to be a large-scale rescue of over 55 horses during late September into November 2019. He is an older, well-mannered and sweet mustang gelding who was in the slaughter pipeline. After an initial quarantine period, he will undergo a more in-depth veterinary exam and have dental care updated. Due to his age, Raven will retire with the rescue. He has been buddied up with a cute mustang mare “Crow” who belongs to Shiloh Acres Horse Rescue.

2020-2021 Update: Raven continues to thrive in his retirement with Front Range Equine Rescue. He had all of his medical and other assessment needs completed after his initial rescue. He has continued to have routine veterinary care and is enjoying his days with his good friend, Crow who is an older mustang mare belonging to Shiloh Acres Horse Rescue.
