Whiskey was saved from a kill lot in 2015. He was very thin and extremely lame upon arrival. It took months of proper farrier and vet care to get him fully healed and riding sound. He does require front shoes. Whiskey is a very sweet gelding who loves attention and is available for light riding by an intermediate rider. He’s well trained and will do best with rides in the pasture, easy trails (no long rides).  Whiskey was honored to carry the groom (see photos) when long-time supporter Amara got married in September 2016.  He gets along great with other horses too!
