Gidget was rescued in April 2015. She had been abandoned and was very thin with a long mane full of burrs, cuts all over her body, overgrown hooves, and hair missing all over her body due to malnutrition. After many months of proper care, Gidget regained her health. She has been in training assessment for ground work and under saddle experience. She can be easy to work with but also has the “red-haired” attitude at times. Gidget requires a confident, patient and experienced owner who will keep her in condition and with something to do.

Gidget had a bad fall on an icy patch during a March 2017 storm causing a severe leg injury. Sadly she had to be humanely euthanized as the injury resulted in too much damage.
