Benji (ADOPTED)
Benji was rescued in November 2014. He had been abandoned at a boarding facility by his owner. He was scared, thin, full of briars and very untrusting. Confidence building was part of his rehabilitation and continued during training assessment.
Initially, Benji was re-introduced to lunging, wearing tack, and carrying a rider at walk/trot in an arena setting. He needs a patient, experienced person to work with him to build a solid one-on-one partnership. His perfect new home will be with an experienced owner/rider who has worked with a horse who can be either energetic at times or more “stubborn” at others. This is not a beginner horse.
