Ebony was saved from an auction by outbidding a kill buyer. She was successfully adopted.


Mustang Sallie was pregnant and on a kill lot waiting to ship to slaughter. Her foal and later "Sallie" were both successfully adopted.


Snickers was saved from a kill lot in Oklahoma and later successfully adopted.


Layla was rescued from a youth camp; her lameness treated and later successfully adopted.


Pocono was an owner surrender and had a severe tendon injury upon arrival which healed over time.


Phantom was rescued at a local auction in 2008 and adopted within one month!


Si Waschte was rescued from a local auction and successfully adopted in 2009.


Jade was very thin upon arrival from the kill buyer’s pens; she found a great home in 2009.

Bono (aka "Notch") was part of an impound case and successfully adopted in 2009.

Ruby was rescued from a local kill lot.


Amber was rescued before selling for slaughter at a local auction.


This is "India", a BLM Mustang mare.


This is "Jackson", a BLM Mustang gelding.

 


This is "Cody" and "Braveheart", both are yearling mustang colts from the Pryor Mountain herd. Cody was adopted in 2010. Braveheart was adopted in 2007.


This is "Ali", a BLM Mustang gelding. He was adopted in 2007.


This is "Roman", a BLM Mustang gelding. He was saved after a kill buyer bought him at auction. He was successfully adopted in 2007.


This is "Pearl", grey mustang mare, with her friend Kachina. She was adopted in 2007.


This is "Nikolai", a mustang gelding saved from the auction. He was adopted in 2007.


This is "Peanut", a BLM Mustang gelding. He was adopted in 2007.


This is "Camila", a BLM Mustang mare. She was adopted in 2007.


This is "Jenkins" a mustang gelding. He was adopted in October 2006.


This is "Boomer", a BLM Mustang gelding - adopted in 2006.

 


This is "Sweet", a BLM Mustang mare - adopted 2006.


This is "Colorado", a BLM Mustang gelding with Ginger Kathrens of the Cloud Foundation. He was adopted in November 2006.


This is "Destiny", a BLM Mustang mare. She was adopted in November 2006.



Aprile and Abbie are a mother daughter pair that were at a local kill auction. Both received training and have forever homes!


Logan was pulled from a local livestock auction where FRER outbit the kill buyer to save him. He has arthritis and a bone chip from an old injury and is enjoying retirement at FRER.


Merlin was rescued from a kill auction spring 2014. He is currently in training


Samson was rescued from a kill lot summer 2014; under weight and very timid upon arrival.


Sadie was at a local kill acution. She has been re-trained under saddle and was adopted summer of 2014 to a wonderful home where she is loved and is trail ridden regularly!
