| How You Can Help or Donate
Front Range Equine Rescue (FRER) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization working to end the abuse
and neglect of horses. We need your help. Here are some ways you can help us meet our goals:
Adopt a horse:
The majority of horses rescued by FRER become available for adoption to permanent, loving, and suitable
homes. Please go to our Adopt A Horse web page for adoption details.
Sponsor a horse:
Front Range Equine Rescue encourages individuals to
sponsor a rescue horse during its rehabilitation phase. Sponsors are
asked to provide a minimum of $25 per month (tax deductible) to help
offset some of the expenses incurred with horse care. A brief bio and
photo are sent to the sponsor and if sponsors live around the Colorado Springs area, they can arrange to visit their sponsored horse. We also welcome out of town sponsors to arrange a visit when they plan to travel in the Colorado Springs/Denver area. To sponsor a horse(s), please email FRER with your request by clicking here.
Make a direct tax deductible donation:

Once you are at the American Express donation website, find "Front Range Equine Rescue" in their list of charities and make your donation. You can also setup recurring donations which would be a great way to sponsor a rescued horse. And don't forget you can earn Membership Reward points for your donation(s)!
- Or send a tax deductible contribution by check or money order made payable to Front Range Equine Rescue.
Mail to new address:

Note: FRER does not collect personal information about its donors. It does maintain donor records with name, address, and telephone number (if provided) in a secure database.
FRER has received a donation in remembrance of Merry Ann Blantin of Watertown, CT, who loved all horses, especially Skippy, with all her heart, and who supported this organization (FRER). Her friends at Calvary of Southbury will deeply miss her. Regards, Laurie G.
Volunteer your time:
FRER relies on volunteer assistance to help maintain its rescue and educational programs. Volunteer opportunities are available with horse care (cleaning stalls, paddock, turn out areas, grooming) and at educational events. Volunteers are mostly utilized during summer and fall months. Email FRER for more information.

GoodSearch
GoodSearch is a search engine (powered by Yahoo!) which donates 50-percent of its revenue to the charities and schools designated by its users. You use GoodSearch exactly as you would any other search engine. The money GoodSearch donates to your cause comes from its advertisers. In 2007, GoodSearch was expanded to include GoodShop, an online shopping mall of world-class merchants dedicated to helping fund worthy causes across the country. Each purchase made via the GoodShop mall results in a donation to the user’s designated charity or school – averaging approximately 3% of the sale, but going up to 20% or even more. Click here to make a donation by using the search window at the GoodSearch website.
