Gracie was very thin and showed lameness in her right hind leg. Freckles was emaciated and we soon found out he had less than half of his teeth left with more needing removal. Gracie's lameness was considered neurological in nature and she was treated with micro-current treatments and Life-Wave™ patches. Her foster home was also given instruction on back and leg stretches to help Gracie's muscle use improve. Freckles enjoys a special diet which includes soaked hay cubes, beet pulp and a good senior feed with other supplements added. Over time, he regained all of his lost weight and joined Gracie in a new home during November 2005. Gracie is shown in left photo. Gracie and Freckles is shown in photo in middle. Photo on right shows them at their new home with Lloyd and Ken. Miss Jessie was also adopted by Lloyd and Ken in January 2006.
